You will receive an e-mail that provides a link to the survey. It is quite important to check your e-mails regularly as often the surveys are only open for a few hours and it can be disappointing to receive an invite to a survey that is paying three or four pounds only to be dismissed at the first page. Your e-mail from Ciao inviting you to participate in the survey will also tell you the value of the survey so you can be completely mercenary and only accept offers that appear to be paying well. Most surveys on Ciao pay between one and four pounds but there have been occasional larger surveys paying up to sixteen pounds.
Money from surveys on Ciao arrives in your on-screen account page with Ciao about three to five weeks after the survey was completed. Then, as with all money earned with Ciao, when you have earned five pounds or over you can transfer the money into a UK bank account.
