You will have probably seen the results of YouGov surveys (or polls) in national newspapers and on the television. Most people do not realise how the surveys are conducted.

YouGov surveys are short and therefore payment is relatively small; usually under a pound. However, for the few minutes they take to complete they are worthwhile and you do get the impression it often leads to your voice being heard.

After registering with the site you wait for invitations to participate. The disadvantage of YouGov is you will need to be a member for a few months to receive payment as payout currently only happens after your account reaches a credit of fifty pounds or over. Obviously with lower payment per survey this could take time.
